About the Team
Dr. Ian Humphreys BDS, MSc (Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry) (GDC Number 64492) qualified as a dental surgeon in 1989 and since that time as worked in general dental practice in both the private and NHS sectors. He has undergone extensive training in restorative dentistry and is committed to ongoing postgraduate education as a means of delivering the highest standard of care and the latest techniques to his patients. Ian achieved a Masters with merit in Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry in 2012 and also completed an Advanced Restorative Dentistry course with Dr Paul Tipton in 2006. He is a member of the British Dental Association, Denplan and the British Dental Health foundation.
Hassan Maghaireh BDS 1999, MFDS RCS, MSc Implants was born in Morecambe in 1976 and graduated in May 2000. In 2001 he started his post graduate dental training in oral and facial surgery. He spent 5 years training in oral and maxillofacial surgery as senior house officer and staff grade surgeon in various UK hospitals, including Hull Royal Infirmary, North Manchester Hospital and Pinderfields General Hospital in Wakefield. Hassan was awarded the Diploma of Membership in the Faculty of Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2004.
Angela Humphreys BSc your practice manager at Harrogate Spa Dental Care – Qualified in a degree in Sociology and Psychology in 1997. Went into media sales career and then progressed into Sponsorship and Promotion and management in radio. After this she moved into event management and still continues to work in this field for one off projects. Now she has joined her husband in setting up Harrogate Spa Dental Care and manages the practice, everything from reception to marketing.
Dawn Shipley is one of our qualified dental nurses (NVQ level 3 – Oral health care/ dental nursing). She is particularly interested in keeping up to date with new developments in dentistry
Chloe Waddington is our newly qualified dental nurse! She has recently completed her NVQ level 3 dental nurse qualification at York University.
