Technology has moved on. Not only that there is good evidence show that powered brushes (the Oral B ones) reduce bacterial plaque and gum inflammation better than manual toothbrushing. In fact bacterial plaque reduced by 11% after one month then 21% after 3 months!

England lockdown: Dental practices to remain open

Following the PM’s announcement 4th Jan 2021 that a third lockdown in England will come into effect from midnight 3rd Jan 2021, we have received confirmation from the Office of the CDO that dental services in England are to remain open.

The Government guidance on the national lockdown states: “The majority of public services will continue and you will be able to leave home to visit them. These include the NHS and medical services like GPs and dentists”.

Dental Practices remain open during 4 week lockdown

Despite an impending lockdown private practices will remain OPEN.
It’s safe and essential to attend the dentist. We remain open to all, for both routine and emergency treatments.

Following Government instruction Harrogate Spa Dental is unable to carry out face to face consultations or treatment until further notice.
